eTwinning Professional Development Workshop, Lillehammer

Skriv ut
The 9th eTwinning Professional Development Workshop was held 18-20 May 2006 in a rainy Lillehammer, Norway. The workshop gathered 68 teachers from 19 European countries.

In addition to the participant teachers, there were a number of contributors - lecturers, workshop leaders, teachers and pupils - bringing the total number of the group gathered in Lillehammer up to around 95. The participants experienced a mix of presentations, workshops in smaller groups and networking time.

Thanks to a group of young reporters from Åmot ungdomsskole, we can present reports and pictures from most of the sessions - and podcasts from some of them.

  • The teacher: artist, bureaucrat, coach – or something else?

    Inge Eidsvåg
Inge Eidsvåg who has been a teacher for 33 years and a principal for some of those years, held a quite breathtaking lecture on the teacher, and the student being taught. What does it mean to be a good teacher? The first thing you think is possibly: “A person who’s obviously good at teaching!”
  • Podcasting

    Ana Margarita Milan Quinteros
When I first entered the Podcast lecture, I really had no idea what it was. I admit that I’ve heard the name before, though I’ve never quite known what it meant. But the minute Ana Margarita Milan Quinteros started talking I got really interested, and I’ll bet the readers will be to!
